We selected seven individuals who met the inclusion criteria: age 60 years or older, self-identified as long-term attendees (minimum 20 years) of extreme metal festivals, and willingness to discuss their experiences in detail. The slides below provide a brief profiles of the seven participants who took part in this study. Each participant has been assigned a pseudonym to protect their anonymity, in accordance with ethical guidelines, for details about participants consolidated timeline see appendix at the end of this article.
